I love these boots, really good quality (as you would expect for the price), really comfy too. I have narrow feet and they are a good fit, i imagine that they might be a bit hard (or impossible) to pull on for someone with wider feet as there's not that much room for me to get my feet in! However, the upside of that is that when they are on they are a great fit. I'm usually a 5.5, the size 5 was fine.

Needed to buy some sandals in a hurry for my hols, couldn't find anything on the high street (how can you buy boots in August but not sandals?????) so here was my last result. As they say, the best always comes last, because these sandals are the most quirky little things I've ever come across!! They are sooooo comfortable (which is good for someone with wide feet) & they come with spare heels!!! The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is that, even though they are comfortable they are a touch and I mean a touch, big, but I can live with that. I got them in Anthracite (black to you & me) & the debit card is at the ready for the Panna (aka cream).

Comfortable, quirky little sandals.........LADIES....GO GET THEM!!!

I am size 6 and I bought size 6. They fitted perfectly. My 3 other pairs of Fly shoes only fitted at size 7.

For a high wedge heel, these sandals look very neat on. When you first put them on they are very comfortable and feel secure, so yes, at that point, you could run in them....however, as some people have already observed, the back straps need constant adjustment because they slip down.

I do not think that this is because the back straps are too long,as another buyer has said, I think that it is that the little straps that join the back strap to the sole are too short, so they pull the back strap down as you move about. It would drive you nuts if you were walking about a lot. If you just want elegant sandals for a desk job, don't hesitate to get them at the best price you can.

I ordered these sandals in the green and they look lovely, they feel comfy when you put them on, but when I started actually walking in them the strap constantly slipped down under my heel. The sole was exactly the right size but the strap was just too long even when tightened right up. Sadly I have had to return them as they are completely impractical to walk anywhere. Real shame as they look great!

At last, a pair of wedges that look good, are fashionable and most importantly are comfortable! I am so pleased with these shoes. I never wear heels because I am always running around after my small children but I fancied a change. These shoes actually allow me to run around in them without breaking an ankle. I love these shoes and already have them in black and the off white. Am now eying up a brighter colour in either these or the gosh, which have the same type of wedge, so I hope should be as comfortable!

I love the look of these shoes and they would be reasonably comfortable if it wasn't for their funny sizing. Size 7 is too tight for me; size 8 (even with an insole) is floppy. If only FLY would do something about their sizing but I guess they won't have to so long as people like me continue to buy their shoes for the fab design. If possible, try them on in a shop before purchasing online. In terms of prices and service, I think Amazon is unbeatable.

I have had my eye on these boots for over a year now and was SOOOO pleased that I finally bought my first pair (in red). From day one, they were so comfortable, the leather is soft, the soles are perfect and the fit my hobbit feet beautifully (size 4 wide). They do mark easily, but this was remedied with scotch guard spray. They are a snug fit around the calf, but the leather is so soft that they give easily and the buckle is adjustable.

They look great, after seeing them on and trying them, my mum went home and ordered her pair, my Auntie also fell in love with them.

Can't to save my pennies and get a pair in black patent.....or do I go for the green??

I would HIGHLY recommend these boots :o)

Bought these last year in brown, went for the petrol this year as I knew they fitted well. I am size 8 but these 41s are a good size, tight on the calves which I prefer because they do loosen with wear. Also sent off for the green as there was no picture of that colour. The green is a forest green quite dark so I thought the petrol was more funky and for some reason cheaper! Excellent but not as cheap as last year!

these are nice boots - great design, but beware: the leather doesn't look like the pic - it looks much shinier and cheaper - actually looks like fake, which is such a shame as the boots in all other ways are great. and the leather is thin, so they bunch up around the ankle - they don't look smooth and straight like the picture. but if you don't mind these things, then you'll be happy with them, and the leather does dull up with age i.e improves.

I bought these boots at the end of January, the colour and shininess were not quite what I expected, but they grew on me and the boots were really comfortable. However 2 months later after having not worn them every day, I noticed a hole in the heel of one boot, soon closely followed by one in the heel of the other boot. I wanted to keep the boots so tried to get them repaired but due to the heel being one piece and type it can't be mended. I was very disappointed and will not buy boots/shoes from FLY with that sort of heel again.

These are great boots and I've had no end of compliments on them.

Before purchase I read that they're very snug on the calves but for me they fit just right - a snug fit but not too tight, maybe a finger's depth of space only. I would agree that these boots are only for slim legged chicks. I would advise trying these on in the High Street to check if you can get on with them.

The leather is nice and soft but it does mark very, very easily. I waterproofed the moment I purchased them and it's a good job I did.

The only thing stopping my 5th star is that mine have slumped a little towards the ankle and I wanted a really 'upright' pair.

I would recommend these boots to anyone. As I say EVERY time I wear them I get lots of compliments which is always great.

I have these boots in black and I have to say they are so comfortable, I have worn them all winter. I agree that they are very slim fitting around the calf area but the top buckle can be adjusted slightly.When they have been worn a few times, the tight fitting tends to ease a little and the bonus is they do not go saggy around the leg like some boots do. The soles are very hard wearing and I have not experienced them being too slippery on wet flooring, or at least no more than other footwear. Am definately going to get another pair of Fly boots, really good value for money and very well made.

This is my third pair of Fly boots and I have not been disappointed. They are well made, comfortable and a superb fit. The sizing is not generous so if you do not have slim legs they may be a bit tight. I bought them in green which is in fact a shiny sort of leather so not sure how or whether to try and treat them. I would recommend if at all possible treating them if you have bought a soft leathered boot as they do tend to mark easily. You will not be disappointed.

I bought a pair of these boots in red last year and can't wait to wear them more now autumn/winter draw near. These boots have it all and are so easy to wear with jeans or skirts. I have been stopped in the street and asked where I got them which has to be a good indicator of how lovely they are. Certainly they are more expensive than I would usually go for but they are extremely well made and are sturdy without being too chunky. They are a snug fit around the calf so it might be a good idea to check precise measurements before buying as I would have been GUTTED had I been unable to get into them. The only trouble now is that I find myself hankering after a brown and black pair as well...

I agree that these are lovely boots (soft leather, stunning colours, great design), but FLY sizing is notoriously odd at the best of times.

An Amazon 8 as listed here is a 41, which actually fits more like a 40! The leg too is narrow,and the height of these boots 'cuts off' the leg making your leg look odd and wide. Would suit very skinny legs only.

I absolutley love FLY boots, but ordering from Amazon is going to be hit and miss on sizing unless you are TOTALLY sure on what size you need (and are getting - Amazon should list the continental sizing too I feel).

Perhaps try on locally if you can first? Its a lot of money to get the wrong size and be disappointed.

Wow these are great boots ! They look fantastic and feel so slinky& ultra comfortable.

They are made from a really soft leather , that has a slightly aged appearance and really does feel like a second skin.They are extremely well made with lovely little touches like " fly" wrote on the side buckle.

They are a very flattering length, stopping on my calfs making them idea for jeans or skirts - look fantastic with skinny jeans.

The heel is great & sturdy but enough to give a faltering lift.

Wearing them is a joy and now Im constantily wearing outfits just so I can wear these boots with them ! Really Im so delighted I bought them and people are constantily commenting on them. I was slighilty hesitant about buying them because of the price but they really are worth it. These are the type of boots that will last for ever and always look stylish.

They feel amazing to wear- so, so comfortable you can wear them straight away and the biggest problem is wanting to take them off !

I bought the red colour and they are beautiful- a lovely rich red.

However my only caution is they atre broad made so you might find you need to take a size smaller than normal.

Fly usually make great boots and these are one of their best, your biggest problem is deciding which one of the lovely colours to buy.

Have had a 2 x pairs of Fly shoes and they are the most comfy shoes ever.

I am normally a 6/6.5 and take the size 7 in Fly. These boots are gorgeous - a lovely colour and fit. My calves are not the smallest yet they fit fine and the buckle allows for adjustments.

The leather is so soft - just make sure you protect them as they can mark, but that adds to their good looks!

Good looking, comfortable and well made boot. Unique styling that I have come to expect from Fly London.

Only draw back is as the leather is so soft it marks easily, but this can easily be rectified with a good leather care product. I recommend Oakwood leather conditioner, which is lanolin based.

Very positive experience ordering from Amazon, efficient service and prompt delivery, as always......when in stock!

Very study comfy boots, but clearly the sizing is odd - I am usually a 7 but the 8 are a perfect fit, yet I have read reviews on Amazon and other places that suggest they are roomy. So if you can, try on a pair first! Lovely boots though, soft leather and a good fit. Ideal for the wider of calf as they're quite low on the leg, but still tall enough to wear with skirts and dresses. I'll be keeping my eye on other colours in the sale!

You know how when you're a kid and you get a pair of shoes that you just love and don't ever want to take off? well, these boots are in that category. This is my first pair of Fly boots and it certainly won't be my last. i love these boots! they are comfy, stylish and practical and go with everything i wear, dresses, skirts, even skinny jeans. can't recommend highly enough, though my husband does moan that the soles leave 'caterpillar tracks' on his immaculately vacuumed carpet! i will be saving up for the longer pair so i don't wear these out too quickly by wearing them every day.
